See you at Port Fairy Folk Festival

This Labour Day long weekend I’m going to be heading on down to the coast to attend one of my favourite music festivals when the little town of Port Fairy, Australia swells in size and attracts music lovers from across Australia and the globe.

I’m looking forward to catching artists that have been part of my life since I was a kid such as Graham Nash and Ralph McTell as well as rising acts like Cam Cole and Hussy Hicks.

This year is especially exciting as I’ll be taking part in two events at the Festival. On Saturday the 9th of March at 2pm I’m going to be giving a writer’s talk at the wonderful Blarney Books & Art about Robert Johnson, the devil and all sorts of other fun things. Then on Sunday the 10th at 1pm I’ll be hosting The Juke Joint Live featuring Damon Smith, Opelousas and more. The artists will play separately and together and the whole thing will be recorded and played in coming weeks on PBS 106.7fm.

See you there!
